Joseph Giunti

How about a little background?

When I'm not busy coding projects in Java, learning new techniques in HTML and Javascript, or reading about the latest developments in the tech industry, I volunteer my time as a Fire-fighter and Emergency Medical Technician in my home town. It is a great feeling to be a part of a team that helps people in the community in their time of need.

When I was 19 years old I enlisted in the United States Army. The six years that I spent in the military was an invaluable experience and an exercise in the importance of teamwork. The exposure I had to different people and cultures has truly enriched my own life in ways that I value greatly.

In my free time I am an avid hiker and outdoorsman. As much as I love the world of technology and computers, sometimes it's nice to hit the trails with nothing more than a good pair of boots and a solid back pack. One day I hope to hike the entirety of the Appalachian Trail.

Where I'm heading

I am intensely interested in using code to improve the functionality of hardware and create dynamic applications that streamline the way in which people interact with data every day.
